Bringing Our Sobriety to New Heights

An annual gathering for men in recovery — a chance to step back from daily life, share fellowship, and reconnect with the simplicity of a life rebuilt on sobriety.

Recovery

A weekend rooted in the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, with talks, meditation, and meetings that meet you wherever you are in your sobriety.

Fellowship

Whether you show up alone or with friends, you’ll leave with a wider circle. Shared meals, late-night conversations around the fire, and the kind of connection that only happens away from the noise.

Reflection

Time and space to slow down, take stock, and listen — deepen your connection with your higher power.

A Day Retreat in the Inland Empire

One Saturday in late July — morning to late afternoon — at Sonrise Christian School in Covina. A full day of talks, meditation, fellowship, shared meals and snacks. Approachable, affordable, and a great first retreat for anyone who’s never been before.

Materials, breakfast, lunch, and coffee included.

A Weekend at Mount Kare

The first full weekend of November at Mount Kare in Wrightwood, high in the San Gabriel Mountains. Cabin lodging, three meals a day, and three days away from everything.

The pace is unhurried: talks, breakout sessions, free time for hiking or napping or chasing a quieter conversation, meetings, & fellowship.

Lodging and meals included. Bring your own bedding and an open heart.

“To watch people recover, to see them help others, to watch loneliness vanish, to see a fellowship grow up about you, to have a host of friends.”

— Alcoholics Anonymous, Chapter 7

Who’s it for?

Any man in recovery — newcomer or old-timer, twenty years sober or twenty days. You don’t need to know anyone in advance, and you don’t need to have anything figured out. You’ll go home with a wider circle — brothers in recovery and friends for a lifetime.

What about cost?

The retreats are run entirely by volunteers, and registration covers lodging, meals, and materials at as close to cost as we can keep it. If money is the only thing standing between you and a spot, reach out. We don't want cost to be a barrier.

Two retreats a year. The next one is closer than you think.
